After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey along the scenic Black Sea coast. Our first stop is the iconic Bandırma Ferry, a symbol of modern Turkish history. We then continue our drive toward Ordu. Upon arrival, we board the cable car to reach Boztepe, a hilltop offering breathtaking views of the city and the Black Sea. We enjoy our lunch here with panoramic scenery.

After a short photo break and descent by cable car, we continue toward Giresun, famous worldwide for its premium-quality hazelnuts. You’ll have the chance to visit local shops and purchase some of the freshest hazelnuts straight from the source.

Later in the afternoon, we head to Trabzon, the cultural capital of Turkey’s eastern Black Sea region. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel and check in.

Overnight stay: Trabzon

After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for a day filled with history, nature, and breathtaking landscapes. Our first destination is the magnificent Sümela Monastery, located within the Altındere National Park. Perched dramatically on a cliff at 1,250 meters above sea level, the monastery dates back to the 4th century and offers incredible views of the surrounding forested valley.

With your guide’s detailed explanations, you’ll explore its chapels, aqueducts, frescoes, and sacred spring (Ayazma), discovering the mystical atmosphere that has captivated visitors for centuries.

After this inspiring visit, we continue to a local tea factory where you'll learn how Turkey’s world-renowned Black Sea tea is grown, harvested, and processed. You’ll also have the chance to taste freshly brewed tea and shop for unique blends.

We then drive to Uzungöl, one of the most iconic spots in the Black Sea region, surrounded by pine-covered mountains and wooden houses. Upon arrival, we enjoy a lakeside lunch and then give you free time to stroll, take photos, or simply relax in this peaceful setting.

Afterward, we transfer to our hotel in the Trabzon–Rize area for check-in and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we begin our journey into the majestic highlands of the Eastern Black Sea. We first head toward Çamlıhemşin, a small town known for its stunning mountain landscapes and traditional architecture.

We continue through the mystical boxwood forests (Şimşir Ormanları), leading us to one of the region’s most impressive historical landmarks — Zilkale. This medieval stone fortress sits on a rocky outcrop 750 meters above sea level and offers panoramic views of the Fırtına Valley.

Next, we visit the Palovit Waterfall, a powerful cascade set in dense forest — a perfect photo spot and a refreshing moment in nature.

On our way back, we stop at historic stone bridges, remnants of the Ottoman period, for short photo breaks. Then we ascend to the famous Ayder Plateau, a lush, alpine area with wooden lodges, thermal springs, and colorful flora.

After some free time in Ayder to enjoy the fresh mountain air and local delicacies, we return to our hotel in Rize.

You’ll also have a chance to shop for authentic, locally made products.

We then continue to Sürmene, renowned for its high-quality handcrafted knives. At a local atelier, we observe the knife-making process and explore a variety of custom-made blades and tools.

Our next stop is the Hagia Sophia Mosque of Trabzon, originally a 13th-century Byzantine church later converted into a mosque. With its impressive architecture and rich frescoes, it’s one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. Your guide will provide insightful commentary as you explore the site.
